Each print has an additional 1″ (2.5cm) border around the edge of the image for its number and signature. I also sign the print on the back and on the image — in case you’d like to trim the white border off and frame your print just like I did in the first photo.

Inspired by the forests of the Pacific Northwest, "Away She Flies" captures the feeling of standing among tall pines as light filters through them. Quiet, still, and full of breath. The cool palette and vertical rhythm recall misty trails and soft mountain air. Tall, dark tree trunks rise in front of a softly shifting sky - a gradient of peach, blue, and mint that suggests the hush of dawn. The forest floor is rendered in geometric shapes as the woods dissolve into pixels.
